MUSE Names New Managing Director
Haley B. Elkins will assume the newly created position of Managing Director on June 1. In this position Elkins will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of MUSE. In addition, Haley is responsible for audience development, grant writing and fundraising. She will work directly with Rhonda Juliano, MUSE’s new Artistic Director, the MUSE board and membership.
MUSE Part of First Female R.C.C. Ordination Ceremony
Saturday, May 24, Debra Meyers was ordained into the Roman Catholic Priesthood. MUSE lent its voice in song and support.
Meyers is Cincinnati's first female Catholic priest, and though not recognized as legal in eyes of the church, the "ARCWP (Association of Roman Catholic Women Priests) says its ordinations put pressure on the Vatican to pull back rules that are keeping it in the past" --Citybeat.
The service was held at St. John's Unitarian Universalist Church, in Clifton.

MUSE Cincinnati's Women's Choir
After concluding a national search and extensive interviewing process, MUSE is pleased to announce Rhonda Juliano as the Artistic Director of MUSE, Cincinnati’s Women’s Choir. Rhonda comes to MUSE from Seattle where she has been serving as the Assistant Conductor of the Seattle Women’s Chorus and Director of Music at the Newport Presbyterian Church.
